Are you a hands-on, product-focused QA professional ready to take ownership of quality in a fast-scaling SaaS company? We're looking for a
QA Lead
to shape and lead a high-performing QA function, embedding a quality-first mindset across web, mobile, and cloud platforms.
This is a
player–manager role
: you'll lead a small QA team while getting into the details of releases, logs, databases, and automation frameworks. You'll define the QA strategy, implement structured release processes, and drive continuous improvement through measurable KPIs.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and coach a QA team, setting standards for test design, automation coverage, and documentation.
* Define end-to-end QA strategy, including automation frameworks, release gates, and KPIs aligned with product and engineering goals.
* Implement structured release management and risk-based testing across web, mobile, and API layers.
* Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to embed QA early in the lifecycle.
* Leverage automation and AI/ML to improve testing efficiency and reliability.
* Present QA insights, trends, and risks to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements:
* 10+ years' QA experience, including 2+ years leading teams in structured QA functions.
* Experience establishing or maturing QA in SaaS, mobile, or cloud environments.
* Certified in QA/Test Management (e.g., ISTQB Advanced, CSQE).
* Technical fluency with modern stacks: React, PHP frameworks, REST APIs, MySQL/PostgreSQL.
* Hands-on with automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Postman) and test management platforms (TestRail, Zephyr, Xray).
* Strong understanding of CI/CD, version control, observability, and secure SDLC practices (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP).
* Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
