About Email Marketing Strategy Lead

Email is a critical channel for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. We're looking for a strategic marketing leader who can drive performance in email while aligning it with our full-funnel marketing strategy.

This role requires someone who combines deep email expertise with a strong generalist marketing background, thrives on collaboration, and brings a sharp strategic eye to cross-channel alignment.

1. Lead the email marketing strategy, from lifecycle campaigns and audience segmentation to creative execution and performance optimisation.
\
2. Manage, mentor, and grow a team of email marketing specialists - fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment and supporting individual development.
\
3. Be the glue between email, ads, website, and insights teams, ensuring messaging, timing, and targeting are aligned across all channels.
\
4. Oversee the end-to-end email campaign lifecycle including deployment, A/B testing, and deliverability improvements.
\
5. Own the email tech stack and automation strategy - ensuring tools are scalable, integrated, and set up for efficiency and innovation.
\
6. Work closely with our Insights and Analytics teams to build dashboards, surface key performance trends, and translate data into actionable marketing strategy.
\
7. Partner with design and web teams to ensure campaign assets are high-quality, on-brand, and delivered on schedule.
\
8. Champion a test-and-learn culture - owning experimentation frameworks for creative, timing, subject lines, and segmentation strategies.
\
9. Maintain compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations, while promoting best practices in consent and list management.
\
10. Present clear insights and performance updates to senior stakeholders, helping to inform broader marketing decisions.
