Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

* About the Role: As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial activities, maintaining accurate and timely records, and supporting clients with their accounting needs.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Year-end Financial Statements: Prepare accurate and timely year-end financial statements and reports for senior review, ensuring all financial documentation meets compliance standards and internal deadlines.
2. Reconciliations: Reconcile key accounts, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets registers, maintaining precision and consistency in financial transactions.
3. Financial Software: Record and maintain financial transactions in accounting software with attention to detail and adherence to company policies.
4. Management Accounts: Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts and performance reports, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
5. Compliance: Ensure all financial documentation meets regulatory requirements, adhering to current legislation and company standards.
6. Clients: Communicate professionally and effectively with clients via phone and email regarding queries and updates, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Part-qualified accountant working towards ACA or ACCA designation, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
* Experience: Minimum of two years' experience working in a professional accounting practice, showcasing excellent problem-solving skills and a structured approach.
* Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications, and experience with accounting software.
