Key Specialist Position in Histology

Job Responsibilities:
* Perform and assist with all aspects of routine histology laboratory processing and analysis.
* Ensure testing meets accreditation standards.
* Contribute to ongoing quality assurance and improvement activities.
* Assist with the development and maintenance of laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
* Provide support in the training and mentoring of staff as required.
* Participate in data reporting and maintain accuracy using laboratory information systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Eligible for or current member of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM) / CORU or an equivalent recognized body.
* Minimum of 1 year of in-service training across all core laboratory disciplines.
* Essential: Experience in Histology.
* Highly Desirable: Experience in Cut Up procedures.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
* Comfortable adapting to new technologies and service developments.
