Health & Safety Manager – Dublin (St. James's Gate)Shannon Transport Logistics (STL)Shannon Transport Logistics (STL) is an Irish-owned logistics and warehousing company with over 50 years of experience providing trusted, compliant, and innovative supply chain solutions across Ireland and the UK.We're proud of our strong safety culture and commitment to accident prevention, environmental responsibility, and maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety.The OpportunityWe're seeking a committed Health & Safety Manager to join our Dublin site, supporting operations for one of the world's leading brands based at St. James's Gate.This is a key position and part of the site management team, advising on health, safety, and environmental matters while driving STL's culture of prevention and continuous improvement.What You'll DoLead and develop health, safety, and environmental initiatives across all site operations.Conduct daily safety walks, engage directly with staff, and proactively identify and control workplace hazards.Advise and support the management team to ensure compliance, ownership, and continuous improvement.Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and task-specific training to build knowledge and confidence.Support the Group Risk Manager on insurance, fleet risk, training, and the promotion of prevention principles.Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.Liaise closely with client safety teams, contractors, and STL colleagues to ensure shared safety standards.What You'll BringA relevant Health & Safety qualification (Level 7 or higher, NEBOSH/NISO equivalent).3–5 years' experience in a similar role within logistics, manufacturing, or a fast-paced operational environment.Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.Proven ability to build trust, engage with teams, and drive a positive safety culture.Knowledge of environmental management and compliance frameworks.Why Join STL?Be part of an established Irish company with a proud 50-year heritage.Work with a global client in an iconic Dublin location.Competitive salary and benefits package.Genuine opportunity to lead, influence, and make a difference.
