I am seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join a dynamic Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a progressive, family-centred, interdisciplinary team, supporting children and young people (0–18 years) with complex developmental needs.
The Role
As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key leadership and clinical role within the team, delivering high-quality psychological services and supporting best practice across the service.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing comprehensive psychological assessment, formulation, and interventionSupporting children with a range of disabilities including ASD, intellectual disability, and complex needsWorking collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team (OT, SLT, Physiotherapy, Social Work, etc.)Providing clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff and team membersContributing to service development, audit, and evidence-based practice
Requirements
Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling PsychologyEligibility for membership with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)Minimum 2years’ post-qualification experience, including relevant paediatric/disability experienceExperience working within multidisciplinary teamsStrong assessment, intervention, and report writing skills
Desirable
Experience within a CDNT or paediatric disability settingSupervision and leadership experienceFamiliarity with HSE frameworks and national disability services
