What we are looking for:
* Fluent English
* Knowledge of Opera property management system desirable
* Excellent Customer Service Skills
* Report Writing, Data Analysis, and strong Administration Skills
* Good E-mail etiquette and Telephone manner
* Previous experience/Training in a similar role desirable
* Good Knowledge of the Local area
* Excellent Oral and Written Communication
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent preferred
* Intermediate Computer Skills
Requirements:
* Daily use of Opera cloud system
* Ensure accurate reservations details on any Group Block bookings
* Ensure the team is aware of the booking details/rates/event details
* Managing group changes, rooming lists and cancellations within the contract details
* Managing blocks and room assignments for specific groups or special guests within a group booking
* Updating Block/Group Reports on a weekly basis working closely with the Reservations Manager
* Co-ordinating with other departments such as Sales/Events & Front Office to ensure smooth check in and arrival
* Display excellent Customer Care Skills and respond quickly and proactively to guest queries and concerns
* Ability to perform well within a fast-paced environment
* Seek opportunities to upgrade or sell additional services to guests
* Manage all the systems involved in the sale of rooms.
* Effectively manage time ensuring the completion of all pre-set tasks daily.
* Project a pleasant, positive and professional image to all contacts at all times.
* To ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your department product and goals, in addition to being aware of the total Resort facilities.
* To ensure that you maximise yield through occupancy and rate.
* To liaise with reception to resolve any queries from guest billing.
* To process no shows on a daily basis ensuring that this revenue is recorded and captured.
* To ensure that all reservations backup is filed and kept in a neat, organised manner and is copied to all relevant department.
