Simon Ronan Landscape Architects (SRLA) is an ambitious international landscape architecture practice collaborating with leading global architects on a highly diverse portfolio of projects.
Our work spans high-end hospitality and regeneration projects in Europe, large-scalemasterplanningprojects in Asia, and luxury hotels and resorts in the Mediterranean and the Middle East. We design landscapes of depth, meaning and ecological value – with a strong focus on sustainability, native planting, and regenerative approaches.
While based in a rural studio in Ireland, SRLA works at the highest international level – producing world‑class landscape design in collaboration with some of the best clients and architecture practices in the world.
Our studio is located in the vibrant market town of Skibbereen, West Cork – a beautiful part of Ireland surrounded by wild landscapes and dramatic Atlantic coastline.
The team works flexibly – candidates can be fully remote, hybrid, or choose to work from the studio in West Cork, Ireland.
We are looking for talented designers who are:
Able to run big projects and manage teams
Ambitious and passionate about great landscape design
Interested in working on large‑scale, international projects as well as Irish landscape projects
Strong collaborators, with good communication and team skills
Proactive and self‑motivated – comfortable working in an agile, partly remote team
Committed to sustainable and ecologically driven design
Skills and experience for all applicants:
Minimum five years’ post‑degree experience through all phases of design
Experience managing complex projects and project teams
Confidence working directly with clients and international collaborators
Professional degree in Landscape Architecture
Excellent design, graphic and technical skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Rhino or Revit
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Fluency in English
Advantageous:
Proficiency in Rhino 3D
Experience delivering international hospitality / public realm / large‑scale masterplans
Experience working in the Middle East
Strong plant knowledge
Strong hand drawing skills
Interest in regenerative design and sustainability
