Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our university buildings. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Conducting daily inspections of all buildings to identify hazards, damage or maintenance requirements; 2. Monitoring the general condition of facilities and reporting any irregularities promptly; You will also be responsible for performing minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing door handles and locks, basic plumbing tasks (e.g., unblocking sinks, tightening fittings) and assisting with routine upkeep to ensure a safe and functional environment. -----------------------------------
