Job OverviewEuropcar Mobility Group is seeking a Driver Valetor to join our Shannon Airport team, reporting to the Branch Manager. The role focuses on ensuring efficient fleet operations, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety, and supporting the customer journey in a fast‑paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and prepare vehicles for rental.Drive vehicles to and from designated locations, including rental branches, airports, and customer pickup/drop‑off points, maintaining an accurate log of movements on our app.Perform pre‑ and post‑rental inspections to ensure vehicles meet company standards for cleanliness and safety.Audit vehicle quality, both inside and outside.Install and remove trackers; activate and deactivate them.Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently.Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate vehicle movements and prioritise tasks.Conduct safety and maintenance checks on vehicles.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.Ensure own health and safety and that of colleagues.Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanour at all times.Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed by management.Qualifications & SkillsFull clean B driving licence held for at least 2 years (essential).Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.40‑hour working week, Monday to Sunday.Physical ability to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team.Strong multi‑tasking and pressure‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment.Good written and verbal communication skills.Basic mechanical knowledge a plus (e.g., checking oil, tyres).BenefitsCompetitive salary.22 days annual leave.Medical refund scheme.Enhanced statutory sick pay.Occupational pension: Employer contribution 1.5%, employee contribution 2%.Enhanced maternity and paternity benefits.Access to Hubex benefits and discounts platform.Life assurance equal to twice basic salary.Employee Assistance Programme.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Voluntary flu vaccination voucher.Bike to Work Scheme.Equal Opportunity StatementEuropcar Mobility Group is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all qualified persons.
