Due to continued expansion and a strong pipeline of major Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Cleanroom, and Data Centre construction projects, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their senior project delivery team.

Mechanical Contracts Manager Role Overview The successful Mechanical Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing the contractual, technical, and commercial delivery of mechanical building services packages across large-scale Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Cleanroom, and Data Centre developments throughout Ireland.
The role will involve leading mechanical project teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.
Mechanical Contracts Manager Key Responsibilities Mechanical Project & Contracts Management Oversee delivery of mechanical installation works across multiple Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Cleanroom, and Data Centre projects Manage mechanical contracts from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover Ensure mechanical projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget Monitor project programmes, resource planning, and mechanical installation progress Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements Commercial & Financial Management Work closely with commercial teams to monitor profitability of mechanical construction projects Review cost reports, budgets, and forecasts for Mechanical Engineering packages Support procurement strategies and mechanical subcontractor management Manage mechanical contract variations, claims, and commercial risk mitigation Client & Stakeholder Management Act as primary client contact for mechanical project delivery Develop strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders Attend commercial, programme, and technical meetings relating to Pharmaceutical, Cleanroom, and Data Centre construction projects Support business development and client engagement strategies Mechanical Team Leadership & Technical Oversight Lead and mentor mechanical project managers, engineers, and site teams Provide technical leadership across mechanical building services installations Ensure compliance with quality assurance, safety, and commissioning standards Promote best practice in mechanical construction and project delivery Project Sectors Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Life Sciences Facilities Industrial & Advanced Manufacturing Projects Cleanroom & Controlled Environment Facilities Hyperscale Data Centre Developments Mechanical Contracts Manager Requirements Essential Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline Proven experience working as a Mechanical Contracts Manager, Senior Mechanical Project Manager, or Mechanical Project Lead on projects in-excess of €30 MExtensive experience delivering large-scale Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Cleanroom, or Data Centre construction projects Strong knowledge of mechanical building services systems and installations Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Desirable Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 M&E contractors Familiarity with Irish and European construction contracts Experience managing commissioning, validation, and project handover processes Knowledge of BIM and digital construction tools For more information on this Mechanical Contracts Manager opportunity or other Mechanical Contracts Manager / Mechanical Project Manager opportunities across Ireland, UK or Europe.
