The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimatorto join our team focused on mission critical projects (pharma/data centres). The successful applicant will work closely with other team members to price projects accurately and effectively, ensuring the sharpest price and the required outcome(s) for our client. This role will be preferably based in Waterford but candidates in proximity to our Dublin or Cork offices can also be considered.Reporting to the Estimating Manager, here are some of the key duties of this role:Pricing a wide variety of interesting mission-critical projects (life science, data centre, healthcare and pharma) in Ireland and overseasTendering a project from start through to submissionPrepare detailed take offs & estimates, taking into account all the relevant drawings, specifications & related documentationLiaise closely with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure cost efficiencyAttending pre & post tender reviewsHandover meeting with operations upon award of successful projectsAbility to work independently as well as part of an integrated teamKey Qualifications Required:Electrical trade or tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar3+ years postgraduate experience in the construction sector, pricing electrical packages of workAbility to achieve demanding time and quality targetsStrong analytical skills and ability to clearly present findings.Good communication skills and high computer literacy.Why Join The STS Group?A dynamic, growing company in the construction industry.A supportive team where your skills will be valued and developed.Competitive remuneration package.STS Group is an equal opportunities employer.
