HR Coordinator

12 Month FTC

Cork

We’re on the lookout for a motivated and well-organised HR Co-ordinator to join a global logistics firm on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering extended leave. This role is perfect if you’re keen to build on your HR career and gain hands-on experience in a busy, people-focused environment.

You’ll be based in Cork but will support HR operations across both Cork and Dublin, so travel once a month will be part of the job. From day one, you’ll play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle and acting as the go-to person for everyday HR queries.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll report directly to the Head of HR (UK based) and work closely with colleagues across different sites.

Responsibilities:

HR Administration

* Manage onboarding and offboarding — from offer letters and contracts to reference checks.
* Keep employee records up to date in our HR systems.
* Support with probation reviews, contract amendments, and leaver paperwork.
* Help coordinate reward and recognition activities.

Recruitment & Onboarding

* Assist managers with recruitment admin: posting job ads, liaising with agencies, and scheduling interviews.
* Prepare welcome packs and plan induction schedules for new hires.

HR Operations

* Be the first point of contact for employee questions, escalating when needed.
* Maintain HR trackers and pull together basic reports.

Employee Relations (Admin)

* Take minutes during HR meetings as required.
* Support employee relations processes with accurate admin work.

General HR Support

* Assist with internal communications and employee engagement projects.
* Provide admin support to the HR lead and management team.
* Look for ways to improve our HR processes and make things run smoother.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in an HR Administrator or Co-ordinator role is a bonus.
* Highly organised with great attention to detail.
* Discreet and able to handle sensitive information.
* Strong people and communication skills.
* Able to work independently and juggle multiple priorities.
* Comfortable using HR systems and confident with MS Office.
