Advanced Maternity Services Midwife Practitioner Role
Job Description:
The primary goal of this position is to provide timely, evidence-based midwifery care to patients at an advanced level. The successful candidate will be expected to develop clinical and leadership skills through academic preparation and on-the-job experience.
Candidates for the Advanced Midwife Practitioner (AMP) role will undergo extensive training and develop the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the requirements for registration as a Registered Advanced Midwife Practitioner (RAMP) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years post-registration nursing/midwifery experience
* A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in all areas of midwifery practice
* Hold a National Qualifications Authority of Ireland (NQAI) Level 8 or equivalent post-registration qualification in midwifery
* Possess a Master's Degree in Midwifery (Advanced Practice Pathway)
