I am recruiting a Customer Service Representative for a busy manufacturing company in Little Island.
This role is central to managing customer queries, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring smooth order flow.
With recent structural changes and increased customer demand, the company now requires a confident and proactive customer service professional who can handle a busy workload and build strong working relationships.
Key Responsibilities Customer Support * Handle customer enquiries via phone and email * Clarify issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions * Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions * Escalate complex issues where required * Gather and share customer feedback to support continuous improvement Order Management & Reporting * Analyse the Open Order Report daily to track outstanding orders * Work closely with purchasing, manufacturing, and other teams to resolve stock issues * Identify causes of backorders and prepare monthly reports Communication & Coordination * Liaise with internal teams to coordinate deliveries and follow-ups * Support external sales representatives with customer-related queries * Manage updates to the customer database for delivery communication and marketing mailshots Systems & Tools * Strong Excel skills essential (VLOOKUPs, reporting, data handling) * Use Excel daily for reporting and analysis * SAP experience an advantage but not required - full training provided * Comfortable working with multiple systems as needed What We're Looking For * Strong customer service experience in a busy environment * Confident communicator with a mature, solutions-focused approach * Excellent Excel proficiency - this is a key requirement * Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable prioritising tasks * Experience liaising with internal teams and external sales reps an advantage * Previous experience in manufacturing, logistics, or similar sectors beneficial but not essential Why This Role?
