Fortivum are now seeking a Project Manager with experience in the management and execution of Data Centre MEP projects from concept through to handover.
The successful candidate will operate in a Client Representative capacity, contributing to high-performance project delivery of various data centre retrofit projects.
Project Location: Greater Dublin
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of selected projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling from initiation to completion.
Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure all deliverables meet client specifications and are completed on time and within budget.
Utilize systems to track and monitor project progress, ensuring full compliance across the project team.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, including the negotiation of contracts and agreements where required.
Oversee financial elements of each project, including cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ensure all project activities comply with relevant legislation, codes, and standards, particularly health and safety regulations.
Establish structures to monitor, review, and control budgeted or agreed expenditures.
Implement cost and value control procedures and ensure accurate, timely production of all required commercial reports.
Prepare and issue monthly progress reports for Fortivum Senior Management.
Promote and maintain productive, collaborative partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Level 8) in Engineering/Construction/Science or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience on mission-critical projects.
Strong knowledge across all engineering disciplines.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality work and meet project deadlines within budget.
