*** Job Description:
Galetech is seeking a highly motivated individual with relevant experience in the area of architectural technology, architecture, and/or design engineering. The role will involve facilitating and contributing to in-house design aimed at creating high performance sustainable modular buildings.

*** The key duties of this role include:
Taking the lead in advancing our existing Modular Buildings, with a focus on achieving Low Carbon, High-Performance, Sustainable Building projects.
Developing processes to assess embodied and operational carbon emissions associated with the buildings.
Refining the design of our current Modular Buildings using cutting-edge sustainable materials.
Conducting statutory testing of these innovative materials and performing building (product) type testing.
Establish formal design and manufacturing processes, enabling the new Modular Buildings to attain NSAI Agrément Certification and BBA Certification.
Provide project management support to construction manager on ongoing projects input feedback to the design process.

*** Essential Criteria:
* Minimum 2:2 Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Technology, or equivalent qualification plus experience.
* Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Autodesk Revit) for design and implementation.
* Must be legally entitled to work in Ireland/EU and travel thorough the island of Ireland if required; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Ireland/EU you must upload a copy of it with your application.

* Proficient in generating and interpreting architectural drawings, and specifications.
* Industry experience in offsite construction.
* Proficient in use of building energy performance assessment packages.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
