Procurement Specialist Role
This role involves executing the Materials Requirement Plan (MRP) to optimize procurement and inventory practices. Key responsibilities include maintaining purchase orders on an ERP system, ensuring timely communication with suppliers, and updating pricing catalogues accurately.
The Procurement Specialist will play a crucial part in sourcing materials to meet production requirements while balancing quality, service, reliability, and cost. They will be responsible for building and managing supplier relationships, tracking shipments, and resolving issues effectively.
For this position, you are expected to have excellent organizational and communication skills, along with strong analytical capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel packages and SAP/ORACLE ERP systems is also required.
* CIPS/advanced degree or equivalent
* Customer service or sales experience in a technical area
* Experience in procurement activities complying with medical device and pharmaceutical regulations
