As a Programme Executive – Single Point of Contact (SPC), you will support the delivery of a national function to guide and streamline consenting for renewable energy projects.

This role is initially offered on an 18-month contract basis with the potential for extension.
Role & Responsibilities:
11. Manage the Single Point of Contact (SPC) contact service, ensuring timely and accurate responses to queries
12. Develop and maintain public-facing guidance content, keeping information up to date and relevant
13. Enhance communications through the organisation's website, social media, and programme inquiries
14. Support stakeholder engagement and maintain strong strategic relationships with internal and external parties
15. Represent the organisation at events, meetings, and public forums, including speaking engagements
16. Work closely with Government stakeholders to promote and evolve the SPC function
17. Contribute to the planning and delivery of new initiatives and programme strategies as needed
18. Assist in the design and implementation of the SPC monitoring function
19. Conduct research and analysis to inform guidance development and programme direction
20. Track and report on progress, key milestones, and engagement outcomes
21. Prepare briefing notes, presentations, and reports for senior stakeholders and decision-makers
22. Coordinate with other departments and public bodies to ensure seamless SPC delivery
23. Plan and support public workshops, stakeholder consultations, and awareness sessions
24. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to renewable energy consenting
25. Develop internal process documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
26. Provide administrative and logistical support to SPC-related projects and events
27. Ensure a flexible and responsive approach to work, particularly during high-demand periods
Key Requirements:
Essential:
28. NFQ Level 7 degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Environment, Sustainability, or Business
29. Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a similar role
30. Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills
31. Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presenting
32. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Desirable:
33. Experience working in or with the public sector
34. Familiarity with the Irish renewable energy consenting process
35. Experience working in cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams
36. Understanding of legal or regulatory frameworks in Ireland
