C&D Foods is one of Europe’s leading own‑label pet food manufacturers with nine production facilities across seven countries. The Edgeworthstown site is inviting applications for the role of Warehouse Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Supply Chain team to manage all aspects of a busy warehouse.
Ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately and in real time on the MRP system.
Monitor and evaluate warehouse layout and stock integrity to achieve optimal performance.
Implement procedural controls for all warehouse activities.
Guarantee that customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
Maintain compliance with quality standards (BRC, IFS, ETI, customer‑specific, pest control, NCRs).
Manage daily delivery/collection requirements, ensuring timely and complete service.
Oversee the mechanical handling equipment (forklift) fleet, maintaining required standards.
Ensure the site’s legal compliance for transport activities, including import/export requirements.
Coordinate with the security provider to meet business needs and maintain site security.
Implement risk assessment controls to deter, prevent unauthorised entry and support food defence.
Monitor and control external areas such as pallet storage, vehicle parking, and car parks.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement agreed solutions.
Lead the warehouse team, providing clear direction and efficiency.
Support supervisors and general operatives as needed.
Ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to by the entire team.
Skills & Experience Required
5+ years proven experience in warehouse management.
Experience with goods in and goods out, ideally in an FMCG environment.
Strong knowledge of warehouse, ERP, and Excel systems.
Experience in stock management and daily/periodic stock counting cycles.
Ability to delegate, set expectations, assign responsibility, and hold the team accountable.
Collaborative and confident communicator, capable of influencing peers and senior managers.
