Social Care Worker


Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Social Care Worker to join our team at the Adult Respite Service. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will support adults with disabilities in achieving their personal goals and fostering community connections.


Responsibilities

* Assist Service Owners in planning and directing supports to meet personal goals.
* Foster community connections and relationships for adults with disabilities.
* Support adults with various disabilities in their daily lives.
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.


Requirements

* Eligibility criteria include holding or being eligible for registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU.
* Candidates must possess the necessary knowledge and ability for the role, including suitability and relevant experience.
* Maintain annual registration on the Social Care Workers Register upon appointment.

About This Opportunity

This is a part-time position with 19.5 hours per week, offering a salary scale of €38,107 to €50,953 pro rata per annum, subject to Long Service Increments (LSI). Annual Leave Entitlement: 31/32/34 days pro rata.
