PMO AnalystSalary: £300‑350 per dayContract length: 6 monthsLocation: 2 days in city centreResponsibilitiesSupport the project team to ensure programmes and projects are monitored and managed to achieve scope, quality, time and cost goalsAssist in maintaining consistency of approach across projects by supporting the administration of backlogs, schedules, scopes, sprints, and budget trackingEnsure risk, issue, and decision logs are accurately maintained and prepared for regular reviewFacilitate efficient project operations by organizing team activities, tracking action items and ensuring seamless communication across the programmeSupport the establishment and maintenance of relationships with relevant client stakeholders, assisting with day‑to‑day correspondence and project updatesWork with the project team to collate data and prepare portfolio and project status reports on a regular basisMaintain project documentation, collaborative workspaces and governance processes during the project lifecycle across programmesCoordinate programme meetings, workshops and Agile ceremonies, ensuring agendas are set and comprehensive actions recorded and trackedAssist in tracking project outcomes and risks, preparing necessary documentation for escalation to appropriate management channelsSupport the administrative aspects of managing multiple third‑party/vendor relationships, including tracking deliverables and vendor correspondenceServe as a reliable point of contact for project team members and assist in coordinating communication with senior stakeholdersRequired skills and qualificationsThree to five years of project administration or PMO support experience in large and complex organisations – ideally within the public serviceStrong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail, deadlines and project governanceProven success working collaboratively with cross‑functional project teams and all levels of managementStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in project management and reporting tools (e.g. MS Office suite, Jira, Confluence, or similar)Experience with Agile ScrumDesired Skills and ExperienceAny additional experience that demonstrates strong stakeholder management and process optimisation within a PMO environment will be an advantage.
