Beidh tú i gceannas ar ghníomhaíochtaí athbhreithnithe dul chun cinn agus tuairiscithe uile an OBC don phunann iomlán tionscadal le béim ar leith ar phríomhthionscadail straitéiseacha EirGrid agus beidh tú ag idirphlé le gach foireann seachadta laistigh den Phríomh-Oifig Bhonneagair (POB) le haghaidh caighdeáin agus próisis a bhaineann le sceideal.
Déanfaidh tú cothabháil agus maoirsiú ar an mbonnlíne thuairiscithe don Tréimhse Athbhreithnithe Praghsanna agus bonnlínte ráithiúla eile do gach tionscadal sa Chlár Seachadta Líonra.

An Fhoireann
Tá an Phríomh-Oifig Bhonneagair (POB) laistigh de EirGrid comhdhéanta de dhaoine gairmiúla ardoilte a bhfuil cúlra acu san innealtóireacht agus sa ghnó/tráchtáil. Tá an Oifig Bhonneagair freagrach as treorú a dhéanamh ar fhorbairt agus seachadadh an chórais cumhachta, mar aon leis na cláir infheistíochta idirnaisc, i gcomhar le comhpháirtithe, custaiméirí agus pobail.
Tá an Oifig Bainistíochta Clár (OBC) freagrach as tabhairt faoi cheithre phríomhról; 1. Rialachas, 2. Rialúchán agus Bainistíocht Riosca, 3. Tuairisciú Punainne Infheistíochta agus 4. Athbhreithniú Praghsanna (PR). Tá an fhoireann freagrach as na beartais agus na caighdeáin rialachais a shocrú a úsáidfear le haghaidh bonneagar tarchurtha ar mhórscála, iniúchadh agus comhlíonadh rialála, bainistíocht riosca agus monatóireacht ar sheachadadh CapEx. Forbraíonn an fhoireann tuarascálacha freisin ar fhaisnéis sceidil agus airgeadais agus seachadadh torthaí agus tairbhí ailínithe le cuspóirí straitéiseacha thar Phunann iomlán an Bhonneagair Tarchurtha chuig príomhpháirtithe leasmhara amhail an Roinn Comhshaoil, Aeráide agus Cumarsáide agus an Coimisiún um Rialáil Fóntais.
Tá feidhm sceidealaithe NDP an POB i gcomhar le foireann Straitéise Grúpa EirGrid agus an Fhoireann Seachadta Bonneagair freagrach as tuairisciú cruinn a dhéanamh ar dhul chun cinn na dtionscadal go léir laistigh den Phunann um Bonneagar Tarchurtha chuig príomhpháirtithe leasmhara lena n-áirítear an Roinn Comhshaoil, Aeráide agus Cumarsáide.

The Opportunity
We now seeking a Senior Lead Scheduler to join our Programme Management Office.
As Senior Lead Scheduler, you will support the Head of PMO and the Network Delivery Programme (NDP) Manager in leading a team of scheduling and programme management professionals to accurately report on the full Transmission Infrastructure Portfolio.
You will lead all progress review and reporting activities of the PMO for the entire portfolio of projects with particular focus on EirGrid’s key strategic projects and act as the interface to all delivery teams within Chief Instructure Office (CIO) for schedule-related standards and processes.
You will maintain and oversee the reporting baseline for the Price Review Period and other quarterly baselines for all projects in the Network Delivery Programme.
As part of your role, you will compile the quarterly update of the Network Delivery Programme (NDP) with information from MSPOL schedules and query/confirm the date changes with representatives of all teams initiating and delivering projects.
We will look to you to will work with the Infrastructure Leadership Team, Programme and Project Managers to ensure that the delivery of key strategic projects and programmes are in compliance with best programme management practices.
The Team
The Chief Infrastructure office (CIO) within EirGrid comprises highly skilled professionals with backgrounds in engineering and business/commerce. The Infrastructure Office is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the power system and interconnection investment programmes, in collaboration with partners, customers & communities.
The Programme Management Office (PMO) is responsible for undertaking four key roles; 1. Governance, 2. Regulation and Risk Management, 3. Investment Portfolio Reporting and 4. Price Review (PR). The team is responsible for setting the governance policies and standards to be used for large scale transmission infrastructure, Regulatory audit and compliance, risk management and monitoring of CapEx delivery. The team also develops reports on schedule and financial information and delivery of outcomes and benefits aligned to strategic objectives across the full Transmission Infrastructure Portfolio to key stakeholders such as DECC and the CRU.
The CIO NDP scheduling function in collaboration with the EirGrid Group Strategy team and the Infrastructure Delivery Team is responsible for accurately reporting on the progress of all projects within the Transmission Infrastructure Portfolio to key stakeholders including the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications (DECC).
About You
Successful candidates will have:
* Qualification to degree level or equivalent qualification, with minimum 8 years relevant post-qualification experience.
* Power system industry expertise or other regulated utility experience is preferred.
* Experience developing solutions or new ways of doing things with good analytical and problem solving ability.
* Experience planning and organising work activities for self and others within a cross-functional team such as report writing and audit preparations to meet deadlines and deliver high quality outcomes.
* Ability to work collaboratively and transparently with others across the business and externally to deliver outcomes in accordance with strategic objectives.
* Experience of high voltage transmission at 110/220/400 kV including an awareness of substations, overhead lines and power cables would be an advantage.
* Ability to manage complex information requirements from the Delivery Teams to allow effective management of the Capital Programme.
