We are a forward-thinking law firm currently recruiting for a Paralegal to join our team.
This role involves supporting solicitors across various practice areas, depending on departmental needs.
The work will vary based on the practice area and is suited for a dynamic individual seeking cross-departmental experience.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
Taking instructions from solicitors.
Liaising with clients or third-party solicitors regarding queries.
Attending court as required.
Conducting legal research on assigned cases.
Assisting in preparing and collating briefs.
Liaising with clients as directed by the supervising solicitor.
Providing administrative support, including photocopying, filing documents, and dictations.
Handling files post-completion.
Releasing and scheduling title documents.
The person
Diploma in Legal Studies or a minimum of 1 year's experience in a legal or busy office environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Proactive and detail-oriented.
Excellent attention to detail and high-quality work delivery.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office suite.
Motivated with the ability to act on initiative.
