G's Gourmet Jams are seeking a Sustainability & Environmental Co-Ordinator to support the delivery of our sustainability strategy and drive continuous improvement across environmental, social, and ethical performance. This role will work closely with operations, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure robust ESG data management, compliance with recognised sustainability standards, and measurable progress against our sustainability commitments.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sustainability professional to develop their career within a dynamic (food manufacturing / FMCG) environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSustainability Strategy & Performance· Co-ordinate and support the implementation of the company sustainability strategy· Collect, manage, analyse, and report sustainability and ESG data across the business· Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance environmental and social performanceSustainability Standards & Schemes· Manage and maintain Bord Bia Origin Green membership, reporting, and audit readiness· Support EcoVadis sustainability assessments, data submissions, and scorecard improvement plans· Co-ordinate SEDEX membership, SMETA audits, and corrective action plans· Act as the key internal contact for customer sustainability platforms, surveys, and questionnairesOperational & Technical Support· Monitor and report on environmental KPIs, including energy, water, waste, and emissions· Support carbon footprinting, emissions reporting, and decarbonisation initiatives· Work with operations and procurement teams to drive sustainable sourcing and packaging improvementsCompliance & Auditing· Support compliance with environmental, ethical, and social responsibility requirements· Assist with internal and external audits related to sustainability and ESG· Maintain accurate sustainability documentation, records, and reporting systems· Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)· Accuracy and on-time submission of Origin Green reporting· Improvement in EcoVadis scores and performance ratings· Successful SEDEX/SMETA audit outcomes and timely closure of corrective actionAbout YouEssential Requirements· BSc in Environmental Science & Climate or similar· Experience in a sustainability, environmental, quality, or compliance role· Practical knowledge of Origin Green, EcoVadis, and/or SEDEX· Experience collecting, managing, and reporting sustainability or ESG data· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities· Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsDesirable· Experience supporting SMETA audits· Knowledge of carbon accounting, emissions reporting, or ESG frameworks· Experience within food manufacturing or FMCGWhy Join Us?· Opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering our sustainability journey· Exposure to leading sustainability standards and customer requirements· Collaborative, values-driven working environment· Competitive salary and benefits packageJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €33,000.00-€35,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingWellness programWork Location: In person
