He will also cover Warehouse Manager holidays/ Absence etc.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and pick orders post-production.Trains warehouse staff in the use of work status, network, and software applicationsDespatch all goods with customer specification,Vehicle Temperature checksCheck Goods accordingly to pick list and amend any discrepancies in pick list.Amend sales dockets accordingly to products checked in despatch.Manage stock and stock counts with the Stock controller and ensuring due process is followed to resolve any ongoing issues.Participates in periodic warehouse inventories.Support and engage in Continuous Improvement activities in line with company strategy.Excellent communication with Peers and Management on Service level, Operational and staffing concerns and any other issues that impacts performance on a continuous basis.Proactively identify and address hazards within the category in the warehouse and actively manage H&S with his team within the warehouse and wider area.Manage staff performance and discuss any issues with the Warehouse Manager.Brings work-load and scheduling problems to the attention of the Warehouse Manager.Covers Warehouse operations in the absence of the Warehouse Manager and may be asked to manage secondary sites periodicallyMay be required to act as cover for goods in and out supervisors/managers as well as supporting with auction materiel and stock counts and return loadsWorks closely with manager in the development and modification of specialized warehousing policies and procedures.Make sure that's all work is safely carried out including pallet build and wrapping.Team and individual performance Management.Some facility and asset management may be requiredWhat You'll NeedExcellent People Management SkillsStrong CommunicatorGood level of numeracy essential (planning etc.)Flexibility and someone who is open and honestGood standard of basic English is essentialHigh level of initiative necessary to identify key priorities as they arise.Ability to take on knowledge quickly.Open to learning, giving and getting feedback to develop.Drive and enthusiasm essential.Character must like autonomy and responsibility.Ability to work as part of a team.Always conducts work in a healthy and safe manner.Desirable:Basic Computer skills with KBS2 ExperienceKey Performance Indicators (KPIs):Slot Schedule managementBooking in AccuracyStock location AccuracyGMP - Compliance AuditsWH Cost Per palletDOT / DSLBenefits:Staff discount at Keelings Farm Shop and subsidized canteenFree On-site parking with access to electric chargersWellness Initiatives such as wellness weekKeelings ValuesPeople MatterTeamworkIntegrityPassion for AchievementInclusion & Diversity StatementIn Keelings we value all perspectives and knowledge that our colleagues bring to our business.
