You'll be responsible for maximizing revenue across room bookings, corporate events, weddings, and live entertainment while managing relationships with key clients and online distribution channels.This senior role combines strategic oversight with hands-on sales execution, perfect for someone who thrives on achieving results while building a high-performing reservations function in a dynamic, growing business.Key ResponsibilitiesReservations ManagementWork closely with Revenue Manager to implement pricing strategiesAnalyse booking patterns and forecasting to inform business decisionsEvents & Function SalesWorking under the guidance of the Director of Sales and MarketingCASK Venue Sales: Convert inquiries for live music events, corporate parties, and alternative weddingsHotel Function Rooms: Sell corporate meetings, conferences, seminars, and private celebrationsNelligan's Bar & Restaurant: Coordinate dining events, themed nights, and private gatheringsDevelop competitive proposals that maximize revenue while meeting client needsBuild and maintain relationships with corporate clients and event plannersBusiness Development & Client RelationsProactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across all market segmentsBuild strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event plannersConduct site visits and venue tours for prospective clientsNetwork within the local business community to generate leadsHandle VIP bookings and high-value client relationships personallyMarketing CollaborationWork with marketing team on promotional campaigns and special offersProvide market intelligence and sales insights to inform marketing strategyCreate packages and promotions that drive bookings during low periodsContribute to content creation showcasing our venues and experiencesWhat We're Looking ForExperience in hotel reservations, sales, or revenue managementProven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue goalsExperience with hotel property management systems and channel management and advantageStrong leadership skills with experience managing or supervising teamsExcellent communication skills both written and verbalFull-time availability including flexibility for events and client meetingsFamiliarity with the Limerick market and local business communityPlease Note: This job description provides an outline and overview of the role and is not intended to be exhaustive.
