Opportunity for a French Speaking Accountant to join our client, a multinational pharmaceutical company with a Shared Services Centre in Cherrywood Business Park, Loughlinstown, Co Dublin. You will join the RTR team focusing on the French Market. This is a permanent role, 4 days onsite with flexible start times between 7-10am.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the monthly general ledger close activities ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
2. Review and prepare monthly reconciliations and journal entries to ensure high-quality compliance with US GAAP.
3. Complete SOX controls in line with the control matrix.
4. Collaborate closely with our outsourced business partner.
5. Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders, providing information and support as required.
6. Ensure timely completion of internal and external audits.
7. Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in key team projects.
8. Standardize processes following migration to SAP.
Ideal experience:
9. Language: Fluency in French is required.
10. Accounting Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA preferred; part qualified candidates will be considered.
11. Experience: 2-3 years in a Shared Service Centre and/or multinational corporation.
12. ERP Systems: Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems is highly desirable
13. Skills: Demonstrated initiative in change management and process improvements.
