Overview

Regional Marketing Manager (Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford)

Location: Role is located in Cork, with occasional travel to the other regional offices

Available for Work Visa Sponsorship: No

Contract Type: 12 Months fixed term contract


Role context

The Markets function within Central Business Services (CBS) plays a critical role in helping deliver against EY’s purpose and vision, by delivering distinctive, audience-centric marketing, brand, communications and business development initiatives, with a measurable impact. This role will support growth ambitions in Cork and across the Island of Ireland by developing and implementing best-in-class marketing and brand building initiatives that strengthen EY’s relationships with major clients and targets, drive brand profile and reputation, and support revenue growth in line with the firm’s strategic objectives.


Major Responsibilities

The role is accountable for the following elements of our regional marketing:

* Marketing Planning: Assist in developing the annual integrated strategic marketing plan for the region, aligned with the wider Markets agenda and designed to deliver the firm’s strategic business objectives across reputation, relationships and revenue.
* Events and Sponsorship: Drive a comprehensive annual programme of client events, briefings and seminars, both in-person and virtual, including alumni events, C-Suite programmes, hospitality and industry marketing events. Manage EY’s representation at external events to ensure the firm and partners are duly represented.
* Brand Management: Act as custodian of the firm’s brand management activities, working with the in-house Creative team and Markets team to ensure EY Brand is represented consistently with brand values and identity.
* Advertising, Digital and Social Media: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to leverage best practices for EY across digital channels, implement an annual programme of brand-building activities, optimise digital and social activities, and ensure a digital-first marketing approach.
* CRM and Analytics: Manage reporting and analytics for Marketing activities in the region, ensuring tracking, data management and ROI metrics are in place.
* Thought Leadership and Content: Work with the central Thought Leadership team to drive the annual content programme for sector and solution specialists, ensuring channels are optimised to develop Partners as subject matter experts and thought leaders in the market.
* Budget Management: Track, measure and report budget spend.


Experience, Skills and Competencies

Experience, Skills and Competencies required to qualify for the role

* A degree in Marketing or a business-related degree; or equivalent work experience
* 8+ years’ experience in marketing management in a large corporate environment, preferably professional services
* Experience of working in large/matrix organisations, balancing multiple stakeholder requirements
* Time and project management skills – highly organised with attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines
* A strong track record of strategic marketing campaigns and event management
* Solid experience in leveraging digital and social media to maximise campaigns
* A can-do approach and a strong team player
* The ability to juggle conflicting demands on time and prioritise effectively
