IT Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our organization in a technical support role.
Main Responsibilities:
* Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software systems, networks, printers and scanners.
* Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations.
* Respond to service issues and requests in a timely manner.
* Provide technical support across the organization in person and remotely.
* Set up accounts for new users and manage access controls.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot IT-related issues through data analysis.
* Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
* Test and evaluate new technology solutions.
* Collaborate with third-party technology suppliers and partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A relevant third-level qualification in Computer Science or Computing.
* Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS environments.
* Strong project management experience.
* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads and meet strict deadlines.
* High attention to detail and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
* Experience working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
