CNM2 - Diabetes NursePermanent - Part time (0.5FTE)The Diabetes Nurse will work collaboratively with other members of the team including nurses, consultants, dieticians and administrative staff to ensure the delivery of evidenced based quality patient care to patients with diabetes, pre-diabetic and at risk of diabetes. This will involve those patients who attend the dedicated diabetic centre and inpatients of Mater Private Network.Application CriteriaRegistered General NurseBe on the live register with National and Midwifery Board of IrelandHave completed a post registration course in Diabetes or be willing to undertake oneEvidence of professional development to degree level is desirable.Have worked within the specialty for a minimum of 3 years desirableExcellent inter-personal skillsLeadership and management skillsKnowledge of issues relating to nurse education and developmentMater Private Network is an Equal Opportunities Employer
