We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MS/Tele Float Travel Nurse to join our team at Biron Robertson for roles across North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients while enjoying the excitement of travel nursing.

Required Skills / Certifications / Experience
* Minimum of 3 years' experience, at least 1 year in MS/tele setting
o First time travelers not accepted
* Certifications: BLS
Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience
* ACLS
Job Details
* Ratios: 1:6, flex based on needs in organization
* 12 hour nights, 36 hours per week, weekends only
o Option to be scheduled on Friday or Monday for the coverage for 3 days
* Float required within the CNRO (Centralized Resource Nursing Pool)
o Float Pool currently covers three separate campuses.
o Majority of shifts will be at the main campus but shift can also be scheduled at New Hanover Orthopedic Hospital and Pender Memorial Hospital
o Staff are notified 2 hours before the start of the shift
* Unit systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
* 24 hour orientation
* Navy scrubs
Patient Diagnoses
* Floating between several medical, surgical, and telemetry units
* Assisting in caring for patients held in our ED who are inpatient
Special Procedures / Unit Details
* Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.
o Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
o Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
* Contract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID.
o During times of increased census, typical ratios may be higher.
