Bus Éireann, Ireland’s leading public transport provider, is seeking an innovative and results-driven Operations Planning Manager to become a key member of our team.
The Operations Planning Manager plays a pivotal leadership role within the Schedule Planning and Efficiency function, responsible for overseeing the company’s scheduling team to ensure the effective and efficient planning of operational resources. This role is instrumental in delivering robust, compliant, and strategically aligned timetable plans that underpin service reliability and support the achievement of key performance targets.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Schedule Planning and Efficiency, the Operations Planning Manager collaborates closely with key stakeholders including the Head of Operations, Regional Operations Teams, Commercial, PSO Contracts and Technology functions. The role demands a strong blend of analytical thinking, regulatory awareness, team leadership, and operational insight to ensure that planning processes are optimised and responsive to both current demands and future growth.
Based in Broadstone, with the option for some hybrid work flexibility.

Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee the Scheduling Planning and Efficiency function, supervising the scheduling team to ensure robust, compliant, and efficient timetable planning.
* Deliver timetable plans that underpin service reliability and align with key performance targets.
* Collaborate with stakeholders including the Head of Operations, Regional Operations Teams, Commercial, PSO Contracts and Technology.
* Ensure planning processes are optimised and responsive to current demands and future growth.
* Apply analytical thinking, regulatory awareness, and strong leadership to planning activities.
