Senior Engineer – Ballsbridge
DOE: €75K – €80K + Vehicle & Package
Overview
Our client, an established main contractor delivering projects across Ireland, is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their team on a project in Ballsbridge. The successful candidate will lead the site engineering function, ensuring effective setting‑out, quality control, and compliance with company procedures.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates advanced competence in dimensional control, survey management, and grid coordination, ensuring accurate as‑built records.
Leads and supports site and graduate engineers in the effective use and management of survey equipment.
Applies strong technical knowledge across key packages, with a clear understanding of specifications and structural tolerances.
Manages quality control processes, including Inspection & Test Plans, non‑conformance procedures, and defect close‑out.
Reviews and prepares method statements, risk assessments, and permits to break ground, supporting safe delivery of works.
Maintains accurate records and proactively manages RFIs to resolve missing or unclear information.
Qualifications
Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering
Temporary Works Coordinator training
Lifting Operations basic awareness course
A61 CPCS Lifting
Operations Appointed Persons course
Scaffold awareness/inspection
