This role focuses on applying general engineering methods, advanced technologies, and medical-device industry best practices to meet and exceed customer expectations.
The position supports manufacturing excellence, market-focused innovation, and continuous improvement of processes and products.
Responsibilities
Adhere to Integer's values and safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including QMS, FDA regulations, and company policies.
Work independently with occasional guidance to evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
Review procedures and plans before implementation; assess products, processes, and materials for failure analysis and potential improvements.
Participate in projects that involve investigating, developing, documenting, and implementing new product and process technologies of moderate complexity.
Demonstrate proactive insight into technical challenges, mitigating potential issues and incorporating improvements.
Plan, schedule, and execute engineering work for major or smaller-scope projects.
Follow Integer's standard quality management and production system methodologies to investigate opportunities for product and process improvements.
Apply standard data analysis practices to establish root cause for failures or support justification for improvements.
Observe products and processes to recognize discrepancies and follow detailed steps to establish root cause.
Collaborate with others, ask questions, and regularly check for understanding to support development as an engineer.
Embed quality within the engineering discipline, owning Quality and contributing to corrective and preventive actions and 5 Sigma journey.
Perform other duties as needed and directed by line supervision.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field; at least three years of relevant experience (or 7+ years of experience if education requirement not met).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Solid technical aptitude and effective contribution as an individual or team member.
Functional understanding of Integer's Quality Management Systems and capacity to complete documentation tasks with little direction.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Calm demeanor in a high-energy, constantly changing production environment.
Positive, can-do attitude with belief that failure is not an option.
