Job Title: Warehouse Operative - Counterbalance Driver
The primary role of the Warehouse Operative - Counterbalance Driver is to ensure efficient and safe operation of warehouse activities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Loading and Unloading: Operate a forklift to load and unload trailers, verifying accurate completion of required paperwork.
2. Order Verification: Sort and verify orders against accompanying documentation.
3. Order Preparation: Prepare orders for dispatch.
4. Warehouse Maintenance: Perform general warehouse duties, including maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse and yard.
5. Delivery Matching: Match deliveries with dockets.
6. Freight Recording: Scan and record freight details accurately.
7. Tasks and Assignments: Complete tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. A valid counterbalance forklift operator's license is essential.
2. Relevant Warehouse Experience: Relevant experience in a warehouse environment.
3. Communication Skills: Fluent in both spoken and written English.
