About Your New EmployerOur client is a longstanding mechanical and electrical contractor based out Dublin with a turnover of over €50 Million. They work on a wide variety of projects that include commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare and data centres. They are looking to appoint a planner to a project in a large educational facility in South Dublin. They are ideally looking to take someone on a contract basis (Hourly Rate) but will consider someone on a permanent basis.About Your New JobThe role will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling this particular project.Your ResponsibilitiesPlanning and scheduling support to project managers.Analyze contract documents to identify scheduling and tracking needs.Create detailed construction schedulesCollaborate with clients to negotiate schedules and ensure alignment with project goals.Integrate labour and metrics into schedules using data provided by the Commercial Team.Develop and maintain trackers and reporting templates to monitor project performance.Coordinate with the Main Contractor and Project Manager to build fully integrated construction schedules.Track and measure progress weekly, ensuring efficiency with input from the Site Team and formal validation with the Commercial Team every 2–3 weeks.Identify and communicate risks or potential issues to the project team.Key RequirementsProven experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction sector with a good knowledge of mechanical services. Proficiency in developing and managing construction schedules using modern planning tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.What's On OfferThe successful candidate will be paid an excellent hourly rate with 18 months confirmed work.What's nextIf you are a Planner looking for your next contract we would love to hear from you.
