Procurement Specialist

Our client is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement across IT and non-IT categories, focusing on sourcing, supplier management, cost optimisation and strong governance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage full procurement lifecycle, including renewals and sourcing new requirements.
* Develop and maintain category sourcing strategies.
* Identify savings and lead commercial negotiations.
* Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and supply-chain risks.
* Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal and Compliance to ensure best-practice processes.
* Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes through to contract award.
* Ensure contract terms are commercially strong and compliant across jurisdictions.
* Provide procurement guidance to stakeholders and promote effective collaboration.
* Analyse spend, consumption and supplier performance.
* Report on expenditure, savings and audit requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in a relevant field and 3+ years' procurement/vendor-management experience, ideally in a regulated environment.
* Experience in structured procurement processes, vendor evaluation, SOWs, pricing and contract negotiation.
* Strong understanding of supplier policies and standard contract terms.
* Excellent negotiation, prioritisation and risk-management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* Analytical and detail-oriented, with experience in reporting and process optimisation.
