Based in our Limerick office we are now recruiting for a Senior Software Development Engineer. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our spirometry applications—software used every day by clinicians worldwide to diagnose and manage respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD.
You’ll join a highly collaborative, cross‑disciplinary team of software, hardware, and mechanical engineers, working together to deliver reliable, regulated medical software that directly improves patient outcomes. This is a hands‑on role where your code ships, your ideas matter, and your work has real clinical impact.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop key elements of the spirometry software roadmap.
Turn high‑level requirements into clear, well‑scoped engineering tasks.
Help deliver high‑quality, production‑ready features at every release.
Work collaboratively within an agile, sprint‑based environment.
Contribute positively to team dynamics with a proactive, solution‑focused mindset.
Take ownership of your work and help move projects forward with urgency and pride.
Support planning, scheduling, and delivery of software releases.
Ensure all development aligns with quality and regulatory standards within a medical device QMS.
Produce clear documentation and project artefacts as part of each release cycle.
What We’re Looking For
Degree (or equivalent) in Software Engineering or a related discipline.
4+ years’ professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years with C#.
Strong technical capability with the confidence to work independently or with minimal supervision.
A team‑first mindset, strong communication skills, and a genuine sense of ownership.
Advantageous
Experience with Visual Studio .NET and DevOps.
Experience with SQL Server / SQL Server Express.
Experience developing WPF applications.
