JobTitle:HR Generalist– Talent Acquisition

Role Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner focuses on recruiting top talent and business partnering at the National Lottery. This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional employee experience, driving the Company's ED&I agenda, and ensuring equal opportunities for all. It involves liaising with key stakeholders, people leaders, and employees to assess needs, provide support, and lead the end-to-end recruitment processes, including vetting and reference checking. The role also involves collaborating with the broader HR team to createa great placeto work and positioning the company as an employer of choice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Full Recruitment Cycle:Manage the entire recruitment process from identifying needs to onboarding new hires.
- ED&I Agenda:Drive the ED&I agenda for Talent Acquisition and retention, ensuring the celebration of diversity and embedding an inclusive culture across the business.
- Partnerships and Initiatives:Work with key ED&I partners and manage key initiatives, events, and communications on ED&I within the organization.
- Business Partnering:Partner with business leaders to deliver end-to-end people services and lead key people processes.
- Recruitment Strategy:Collaborate with hiring managers and the HR Operations Manager to establish hiring needs and agree on recruitment strategies.
- Role Profiles and Advertisements:Review and develop role profiles to ensure gender-neutral language and alignment with the Company's values and competencies.
- Inclusive Recruitment Process:Develop criteria for candidate pools to ensure a diversity of skills and experiences.
- Candidate Screening and Interviews:Screen and interview candidates, considering development opportunities for internal candidates.
- Internal Talent Development:Work with the Learning & Development Business Partner to create an internal talent ecosystem.
- Strategic Talent Initiatives:Lead initiatives such as Graduate, Internship, and Work Placement Programmes.
- HRIS Recruitment Module:Act as a subject matter expert on the HRIS Recruitment module, managing and improving recruitment practices.
- Policy Updates:Update and review HR and Talent Acquisition policies.

- Systems and Controls:Develop and maintain systems to track and report on HR information necessary for business management, ensuring compliance with the National Lottery License.
- Advertising and Agency Management:Advertise roles through direct channels and manage recruitment agency relationships and costs.
- Onboarding:Manage the pre-induction and onboarding process, including vetting, reference checking, and contract generation.
- Reporting and Metrics:Report on Talent Acquisition, retention, and ED&I metrics.
- Career Pages Enhancement:Maintain and enhance the LinkedIn Life page and lottery.ie careers page.
- HR Support:Support & Cover for key HR staff members in various aspects of the full employee lifecycle.
- Ad Hoc Duties:Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

- A degree or diploma in a HR-related field and/or CIPD qualification or working towards full qualification.

Relevant Experience:

- At least 5 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition/Recruiting role or HR Business Partnering with a focus on Talent Acquisition and ED&I.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, Personio, and LinkedIn recruiter is an advantage.

- Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Time Management:Ability to manage work time, prioritize effectively, and work on own initiative.
- Reliability:Highly reliable with the ability to exercise discretion.
- Initiative:Self-starter with strong administration and organizational skills.

- Employment Law:Good awareness of employment law.
- Project Administration:Strong project administration skills.

- Internal:Senior Leadership Team, Employees, Managers, Contractors.
- External:Agencies, Suppliers, Contractors, Service Providers.
