Treaty United is one of Ireland's fastest-growing football organisations, driven by ambition on the pitch and a deep commitment to community off it. With thriving men's, women's, and academy programmes, the club is entering an exciting new phase of professionalisation and commercial expansion. We are now seeking a dynamic Commercial Manager to lead all revenue-generating functions and build sustainable commercial foundations for the future.
Role Purpose
The Commercial Manager is responsible for maximising the club's commercial potential through partnerships, sponsorships, ticketing, hospitality, and broader revenue initiatives. This role will lead the creation and delivery of a commercial strategy that grows income, strengthens the brand, and enhances the experience of fans, partners, and the wider Limerick community.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sponsorship & Partnerships
* Develop and deliver a proactive partnership strategy aligned with club growth targets.
* Identify, pitch, and secure new commercial partners across local, regional, national and international markets.
* Manage and retain existing sponsors through strong relationship management and fulfilment of contractual rights.
* Create bespoke partnership packages that reflect the club's assets, digital reach, and community footprint.
2. Ticketing, Hospitality & Matchday Revenue
* Lead all ticketing strategy and execution for men's, women's, and academy fixtures.
* Develop new hospitality offerings and non-matchday revenue streams.
* Partner with operations to optimise match day commercial performance, including fan zones, food & beverage, retail, and activations.
3. Marketing, Brand & Digital (in collaboration with club media team)
* Support the club's marketing and digital efforts to amplify commercial campaigns and sponsor messaging.
* Develop promotional plans that boost ticket sales, memberships, and merchandise performance.
* Contribute to a modern, professional brand identity that reflects the club's ambition and community values.
4. Community & Stakeholder Engagement
* Represent Treaty United FC with professionalism and credibility across key business and community stakeholders.
* Collaborate with local authorities, schools, universities, businesses and junior soccer clubs to expand the club's footprint and build long-term relationships.
* Champion a "One Club, One Community" ethos in all commercial activity.
5. Financial & Strategic Management
* Create and manage commercial budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
* Provide regular reporting to the Managing Director and Board.
* Ensure commercial initiatives align with club strategy, values, and long-term sustainability.
Person Specification
Essential Experience
* Proven track record in commercial, sponsorship, or business development roles—ideally within sport, entertainment, or events.
* Demonstrated success in securing new revenue and managing key commercial accounts.
* Experience delivering partnership rights, activations, and measurable ROI for sponsors.
* Strong financial literacy and ability to manage budgets.

* Experience working within Irish or UK football/ sports structures.
* Knowledge of the League of Ireland landscape.
* Familiarity with CRM, ticketing systems, and digital marketing tools.
