Job Description
As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in leading major construction projects. This position involves overseeing engineering functions and acting as the main technical contact.
You will work closely with the project manager and team to ensure high standards in planning, quality, and safety.
Your duties include:
* Lead engineering strategy and technical control on-site
* Oversee setting out, QA, record keeping, and deliverables
* Manage temporary works and lifting operations
* Mentor site engineers and graduates
* Ensure compliance with specifications, quality, and safety
* Develop Inspection & Test Plans, method statements, and risk assessments
* Resolve technical queries and RFIs
* Closenon-conformances and maintain documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng. or equivalent)
- Temporary Works Coordinator training and scaffold awareness
- At least 2 years of experience in construction site engineering in a senior or supervisory role
