Job Summary
The Renewal Sales Partner Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with our strategic partners, focusing on renewals.
You will oversee partnership performance, drive communication, manage escalations, and strategize to improve renewal retention rates across the EMEA business.
You will be responsible for driving quarterly execution of NetApp support services renewal sales pipeline via the assigned distributor and/or partner. Additionally, you would lead the successful delivery of Commercial segment renewal business through the distributor/partner model.
Job Activities
* Responsible for cultivating and maintaining trusted relationships with strategic partners on support services renewal sales and public cloud software subscriptions.
* Act as ambassador for renewals sales business for internal and external stakeholders across partner ecosystem.
* Driving revenue growth with distributors and partners on geographical targets around in-quarter renewal rates, discount level improvements, and retention rates.
* Develop strategies to continually improve renewal and customer retention rates.
* Driving strong cadence of forecast and business reviews with key stakeholders.
* Identify training and enablement needs, collaborate with internal enablement teams to develop and implement content.
* Act as intermediary, when necessary, between partners and renewal sales specialists.
* Analyse data to understand patterns of customer churn, and develop strategies to improve retention.
Business Objectives
* Establish and maintain a successful cadence to drive pipeline growth and accountability with key distributors and partners.
* Enabling partners across the renewal sales engagement model including offerings, tools, and policies.
* Continuous improvement of in-quarter and overall renewal rates.
Job Experience
* 5+ years of experience in services sales, renewal sales, or technology sales.
* 3+ years leading, managing or working with the partner/reseller community.
* Demonstrated expertise with sales tools such as Salesforce, and core renewal KPIs including renewal rates, retention rates, churn rates.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and non-verbal communication skills, active listening skills
* Demonstrated evidence of being a strategic thinker, with a natural curiosity for solving problems.
