Senior Project Scheduler Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Scheduler to join our team in Cork. This is a permanent role that offers a competitive salary and package.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Scheduler to work on large-scale projects in the pharmaceutical construction sector. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of scheduling projects independently, while reporting to the client management team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients and their specialists to develop master integrated schedules for large-scale development projects.
- Oversee the development of sub-programmes for contracted portions of work, including design, procurement, contracts administration, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Collaborate with clients' in-house teams to develop programmes for activities such as validation, operational readiness, tech transfer, and licensure.
- Integrate various contractor schedules to prepare a master integrated schedule for the project.
- Implement schedule reporting structures and procedures for contractors and vendors.
- Monitor planned versus actual progress and report to the client on project status, critical slippage, key risks, and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of professional scheduling experience in construction or manufacturing.
- Construction or project management experience is essential.
- Proficiency in Primavera and Microsoft Project, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or large-scale project experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Excellent written English and report writing skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
