Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
In this key role, you will oversee all financial activities of the organization. Your primary focus will be on ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and timely insights to support business decisions. This is a hands-on position that requires a unique blend of operational finance and strategic input.
Achieving Excellence in Finance Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop comprehensive budgets and forecasts to inform senior management's decision-making. Manage monthly performance packs to monitor progress against targets. Cash Flow Management: Prepare cash flow reports and forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for the business. Performance Metrics: Establish robust metrics to measure financial performance. Implement processes for continuous improvement, automation where possible Cost Control & Efficiency Measures: Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and payroll activities Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations Liaise with external auditors Maintain internal controls, policies and procedures Provide valuable insight into commercial decisions Reporting Requirements Ability to analyze complex data sets Elevate yourself out of day-to-day tasks to provide context-driven advice Member of senior leadership team Preferable Qualifications ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience Expertise in QuickBooks or similar accounting systems Previous SME experience highly beneficial
