Their commitment blends innovative design, rigorous construction standards, and an unwavering focus on quality to enhance how people live and work.Your new roleAs a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with Building Control (Amendment) Regulations (BCAR) and maintaining the highest standards of quality across all construction projects. You will act as a key liaison between design teams, contractors, and certifiers, ensuring that every stage of development meets regulatory and company standards while working closely with the contract managers. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to influence quality outcomes and contribute to the delivery of exceptional residential and commercial developments.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage BCAR compliance for assigned projects, including preparation and coordination of documentation for commencement and completion notices.Act as Assigned Certifier liaison, ensuring all statutory obligations are met.Implement and monitor quality control procedures throughout the construction process.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify adherence to specifications, standards, and safety requirements.Review and approve contractor submissions, including method statements and quality plans.Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and compliance documentation.Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues promptly.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality assurance and regulatory compliance.What you'll need to succeedDegree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role within residential or commercial construction.Strong knowledge of BCAR regulations and associated certification processes.Proven track record in quality control and compliance management.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with construction management software.Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is highly desirable.What you'll get in returnIn return for your hard work and dedication, you will be employed by one of the country's largest property developers.
