We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the pre-construction phase of a landmark metro and rail project in Dublin, Ireland.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of Ireland's most transformative transport projects. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving proposal, bid, design coordination, procurement strategy, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead pre-construction and tender activities, including design reviews and constructability planning
* Develop procurement strategies and engage early with subcontractors and suppliers
* Manage pre-construction schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
* Identify risks and implement mitigation plans through value engineering
* Coordinate with client, consultants, subcontractors, and statutory authorities
Requirements
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
* Proven experience in pre-construction or tender management on large infrastructure or rail projects
* Strong leadership and team coordination skills
* Knowledge of Irish, UK, or International infrastructure standards and statutory requirements is advantageous
* Professional accreditation (Chartered Engineer, PMP, or equivalent) desirable
