Responsibilities
* Prepare and issue subcontractor and supplier packages.
* Evaluate quotations and negotiate terms.
* Appoint subcontractors and suppliers with contracts or purchase orders.
* Prepare and submit monthly valuations (applications for payment) to the client or main contractor.
* Measure and value completed works and variations.
* Negotiate and agree payment certificates.
* Identify, price, and track changes to the original scope of work.
* Submit variation claims and justify costs.
* Maintain records to support claims and negotiations.
* Measure works on site (manually or using digital tools).
* Compare actual quantities to BoQs and drawings.
* Reconcile quantities and costs with subcontractors.
* Assess and certify subcontractor interim and final payments.
* Manage subcontractor variations and claims.
* Monitor subcontractor performance vs. contract terms.
Experience
* Should hold a Quantity Surveying Degree.
* Ideally have 4-5 years relevant experience within the Construction industry.
