Job Title: Person In Charge
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to take on the role of Person In Charge, responsible for the overall management of our service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to residents, while also leading and managing a team of staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and support to residents in line with our vision, mission, and values
* Manage and lead a team of staff, including supervision, appraisals, and mentoring
* Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and implement policies and procedures that support best practice in disability services
* Report and respond to complaints in line with organisational policies and procedures
* Coordinate and prioritise appointments with multi-disciplinary teams
* Ensure residents have choice and control in their lives, develop citizenship, and maintain relationships with family and friends
* Regularly review and update care plans as per regulations
Requirements:
* QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or equivalent qualification
* Minimum three years experience in a management or supervisory role in the Health or Social Care sector
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
