Job Title: Electronics Installation Specialist
Description:
* We are seeking a skilled professional to install and maintain electronics systems in a fast-paced field environment.
* As an Electronics Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices and systems.
* You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless operations and provide technical support to non-technical staff.
* The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electronics or IT repair, strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with soldering and PCB-level repairs.
* A valid driving license and own transport are also essential requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and maintain computers, electronic devices, and AV equipment.
* Diagnose and repair hardware faults (PCBs, wiring, power supplies) and software issues.
* Perform component-level electronics repairs, including soldering.
* Provide technical support to non-technical staff.
* Maintain logs, manage spare parts, and uphold safety standards.
* Travel to Cork site ~2 days/week.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Hands-on experience in electronics or IT repair.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient with soldering and PCB-level repairs.
* Comfortable working with mains voltage (230V) systems.
* Windows OS expertise; Linux knowledge a plus.
* Driving licence and own transport.
